Do NOT use Cabinets Direct. While they might have been better at some point in the past, this is NOT a luxury or... designer kitchen and cabinet company any more. The communication is sub par, requires regular follow ups, they mis-measured our kitchen the first time (this is supposed to be their expertise!), and their “highest end” cabinets came damaged and incorrectly made despite specifications being correct. On top of that, Cabinets Direct did nothing to try and get them re-constructed and sent to us quickly, causing significant and unnecessary expense and time. Would never recommend or use this company. They just don’t care when things go wrong.read more

Sales associate: AdamRating: 0 starsComplaint: Rude, disrespectful, arrogantI have used this company three times in... the past personally for a few projects and have directed multiple clients here for kitchen cabinetry. I have been working on a client's master bathroom and was in need of custom cabinetry for their vanity. I called in and Adam had picked up the phone and I expressed what I was doing and what the budget was and if it would be feasible to work within that budget. I had emailed him over the size and "style" we were aiming to achieve. I did not get a response, so I called in.He picked up the phone and never have I felt I had annoyed someone more than him as if I was wasting his time. I was simply asking what lines he would recommend looking into for more budget friendly options so I can see if something would fit properly for my client. He said diamond vibe. I asked if there was a certain style within diamond vibe that would be more readily available than others? He snarked at me as if this was an outrageous question. The lack of customer service and "sales associate" is appalling. So rude that it brought to write my first ever negative review.A sales associate is supposed to assist in facilitating selling a product. To sell a product sometimes a consumer has questions. The person's job is to answer the questions, so the consumer feels comfortable with the investment they are making with their money. GOD FORBID, we ask any questions to this gentleman. He made me feel so uncomfortable, he was so disrespectful, and sounded like a pompous jerk that I would be so happy to never have to speak to him again. He said he has been there for 10 years, and I have no idea how that feasibly would be possible unless the company is okay with this type of attitude and disrespect being used towards their customers.In all honesty, I hope he was having a hard day which is why he was "acting" out and hopefully not his normal character, because no one should ever make anyone feel the way he made me feel from a 5-minute conversation of asking the most basic questions regarding he product he was selling.read more

With our kitchen project, though initially got upset with Cabinets Direct USA for missing some deliverables, but as we... started getting the stuff and the way Robin@Wayne is supporting we all feel very happy and hope we should be in good shape by the time we receive everything. Following with customers is very important, and we see that with Robin.1) Initially we finalized one model and we were assured the delivery in 3 weeks.2) After 3 days we were suggested to chose alternative model as there were issues with the manufacturer in delivering what we selected. We compromised and said okay for that.3) We got delivery - to our surprise found that 2 important cabinets were missing. This is not something I can count only from Cabinets Direct USA. Being equally responsible, I should have checked that without trusting manufacturer who shipped the cabinets.Mistakes bound to happen with everyone, but correcting them and supporting customers is most important. I am not sure with other businesses, but Robin@Wayne took it to her personal and helping us by correcting all the stated above issues.Thanks to her for the kind of patience and follow-up. I am sure these mistakes are very rare occurrences, but the kind of support you get would be awesome.read more

We had a wonderful experience start to finish working with designer Adam Eiland for our Kitchen/Dining remodel project... @Cabinets Direct in Wayne location.Adam was very patient & responsive with our requirements (changing at times !), met with us multiple times & created fabulous 3D virtual design of our future kitchen.Once the cabinet order was placed, Adam stayed on top of the progress of the order until it was delivered in about 8 weeks. He also quickly resolved issue with one of the cabinet & got us replacement. He met with our contractor/cabinet installer & explained all details to ensure Installation is done correct.The end product is amazing ! It completely changed look of our Kitchen/Dining area. From start to finish, Adam made the process as easy as possible. We told him what we really hoped to do with the space and constraints that we had, and he was able to make it happen almost effortlessly. Any questions or concerns we had, he was only a phone call or quick email away. What a nightmare dealing with this location. I had a small kitchen renovation and needed the fastest delivery cabinets... they provided. Communicating with my designer was difficult to say the least. I guess I wasn't spending enough money to make it worth the store's effort to provide good customer service. I was promised delivery within 3 weeks (even during the pandemic) which turned out to be 6 weeks by the time the designer submitted my order. The cabinets from their in-stock vendor were made of cheap quality and several were delivered damaged. To make matters worse there was a 10-14 day turn around period to get the replacement cabinets delivered. Included in my order was an over the sink glass door cabinet which took about 2 months to be delivered (supposedly it was a special order item but was delivered full of warehouse dust like it was sitting for a year). When the cabinet was finally delivered there was no glass on the doors. My order form says "glass door cabinet" but there was no glass included. When I asked the designer about this she assumed I knew this because they were in-stock cabinets. These communication problems continued throughout the entire process.To top things off when I went to the granite vendor to pick out my slab and the order got back to the store I was mistakenly shown a different, more expensive stone. It looked exactly like the sample I was shown at the store but this just confirmed the dishonestly of this store. When the granite was scheduled to be installed the piece going on the ledge too long on one side and ran against the vein of the piece going on the counter top. It all had to be re-ordered which delayed everything once more. I have replaced kitchens at several homes and never had issues like these. The only reason I went to this store is because they claimed to have fast delivery on in-stock cabinets. Definitely not worth the trouble. Bottom line is that you are better off going through Lowes or Home Depot custom cabinets. They are of better quality and have better customer service.read more

Where to start?! Stephanie was incredible. I'll start by saying we went to her first, got our estimate and design but... wanted to shop around a bit, and by a bit I mean my husband got 6 estimates... Each time we left another place we found ourselves going back to Stephanie's design and available products. The price is truly competitive with CD USA and in the end felt like we got a great product at a reasonable price. The design on Stephanie's part couldn't have been any more perfect, she really does a thorough job, great attention to detail and knows her codes so there wasn't any issues with design and codes clashing. Not to mention she helped guide us in the right direction with a design that fit the space and lifestyle we live perfectly. She answered every question and made the experience exciting and fun, never overwhelming. She has a wealth of knowledge in her field. Miro, the installer and contractor, went above and beyond in so many ways. He kept the project running on schedule, he answered every phone call and text. What he did best... was take our ideas that we were trying to accomplish for style and layout, and then gave us a great understanding of the pro/cons of how those translate into a real life project.
