Adam came to me via a referral from a co-worker. From our initial meeting at the showroom to him coming out to our... home to take measurements, it became clear I was not going to look anywhere else for cabinets. Adam understood the challenges within our kitchen, came up with good suggestions to work around them and created a kitchen cabinetry plan that would provide me with the much needed storage and organizational space that we so badly needed.His attention to detail and desire to make sure I was 100% thrilled with the kitchen was greatly appreciated. And, not only was he concerned with building cabinets around my existing fridge, he also gave thought to if/when down the line I need to replace it and left additional space (concealed) that would make a larger fridge possible w/o having to do anything additional to the cabinetry.I felt the pricing was very fair, and as a bonus I ended up ordering my quartz countertops from him as well, as they were $1,000 less (yes, you read that right) than 3 other quotes I had received for the identical product.I would happily and highly recommend Adam to anyone considering cabinetry and/or countertops.Can’t wait to see them once installed!read more

We couldn't be happier with Stephanie Longo who was referred to us from friends of ours who also had their kitchen done... with Cabinets Direct. From the very beginning, we gave Stephanie our vision, and worked directly with us and our contractor Miro who were all in constant communication during the 6 month process, along with a deadline before our baby was due. We took Stephanie's recommendation to get in everything before the actual demolition and reno, so we could ensure that everything was delivered first so there were no delays. We would without any reservation consider Cabinets Direct and using Stephanie as our designer. She was 5-star in our book. I had a wonderful experience working with Loretta at Zimmerman Cabinets. I was renovating the first floor of my... townhouse which consisted of a galley kitchen, laundry area, powder room, living room and dining area. The space was tricky because the kitchen was very narrow. My goal was to create a proper laundry room , update the kitchen, add an island and create a full bathroom. Loretta came up with the perfect design for my space. It doesn’t even look like the same house. I love it so much. She met all of my goals! The cabinets are gorgeous and high quality. Because of covid, many products were taking a long time to arrive. My cabinets and countertops both arrived on time, which was amazing. Loretta was fun to work with. She has great taste and style and we picked out the door style and cabinet colors together. I appreciated her guidance. I would definitely recommend Zimmerman and Loretta and I look forward to working with them again on my next project.read more

Do NOT use Cabinets Direct. While they might have been better at some point in the past, this is NOT a luxury or... designer kitchen and cabinet company any more. The communication is sub par, requires regular follow ups, they mis-measured our kitchen the first time (this is supposed to be their expertise!), and their “highest end” cabinets came damaged and incorrectly made despite specifications being correct. On top of that, Cabinets Direct did nothing to try and get them re-constructed and sent to us quickly, causing significant and unnecessary expense and time. Would never recommend or use this company. They just don’t care when things go wrong.read more

Sales associate: AdamRating: 0 starsComplaint: Rude, disrespectful, arrogantI have used this company three times in... the past personally for a few projects and have directed multiple clients here for kitchen cabinetry. I have been working on a client's master bathroom and was in need of custom cabinetry for their vanity. I called in and Adam had picked up the phone and I expressed what I was doing and what the budget was and if it would be feasible to work within that budget. I had emailed him over the size and "style" we were aiming to achieve. I did not get a response, so I called in.He picked up the phone and never have I felt I had annoyed someone more than him as if I was wasting his time. I was simply asking what lines he would recommend looking into for more budget friendly options so I can see if something would fit properly for my client. He said diamond vibe. I asked if there was a certain style within diamond vibe that would be more readily available than others? He snarked at me as if this was an outrageous question. The lack of customer service and "sales associate" is appalling. So rude that it brought to write my first ever negative review.A sales associate is supposed to assist in facilitating selling a product. To sell a product sometimes a consumer has questions. The person's job is to answer the questions, so the consumer feels comfortable with the investment they are making with their money. GOD FORBID, we ask any questions to this gentleman. He made me feel so uncomfortable, he was so disrespectful, and sounded like a pompous jerk that I would be so happy to never have to speak to him again. He said he has been there for 10 years, and I have no idea how that feasibly would be possible unless the company is okay with this type of attitude and disrespect being used towards their customers.In all honesty, I hope he was having a hard day which is why he was "acting" out and hopefully not his normal character, because no one should ever make anyone feel the way he made me feel from a 5-minute conversation of asking the most basic questions regarding he product he was selling.read more

With our kitchen project, though initially got upset with Cabinets Direct USA for missing some deliverables, but as we... started getting the stuff and the way Robin@Wayne is supporting we all feel very happy and hope we should be in good shape by the time we receive everything. Following with customers is very important, and we see that with Robin.1) Initially we finalized one model and we were assured the delivery in 3 weeks.2) After 3 days we were suggested to chose alternative model as there were issues with the manufacturer in delivering what we selected. We compromised and said okay for that.3) We got delivery - to our surprise found that 2 important cabinets were missing. This is not something I can count only from Cabinets Direct USA. Being equally responsible, I should have checked that without trusting manufacturer who shipped the cabinets.Mistakes bound to happen with everyone, but correcting them and supporting customers is most important. I am not sure with other businesses, but Robin@Wayne took it to her personal and helping us by correcting all the stated above issues.Thanks to her for the kind of patience and follow-up. I am sure these mistakes are very rare occurrences, but the kind of support you get would be awesome.read more

We had a wonderful experience start to finish working with designer Adam Eiland for our Kitchen/Dining remodel project... @Cabinets Direct in Wayne location.Adam was very patient & responsive with our requirements (changing at times !), met with us multiple times & created fabulous 3D virtual design of our future kitchen.Once the cabinet order was placed, Adam stayed on top of the progress of the order until it was delivered in about 8 weeks. He also quickly resolved issue with one of the cabinet & got us replacement. He met with our contractor/cabinet installer & explained all details to ensure Installation is done correct.The end product is amazing ! It completely changed look of our Kitchen/Dining area. Our contractor highly recommended that we see Adam at Cabinets Direct to plan out the cabinets for our kitchen and bath... renovation, and we are so glad that he did. From start to finish, Adam made the process as easy as possible. We told him what we really hoped to do with the space and constraints that we had, and he was able to make it happen almost effortlessly. Any questions or concerns we had, he was only a phone call or quick email away. Even after placing our order, he was there every step of the way, from updating us on delivery info to helping with replacing a damaged item that we didn't know about until install. What a nightmare dealing with this location. I had a small kitchen renovation and needed the fastest delivery cabinets... they provided. Communicating with my designer was difficult to say the least. I guess I wasn't spending enough money to make it worth the store's effort to provide good customer service. I was promised delivery within 3 weeks (even during the pandemic) which turned out to be 6 weeks by the time the designer submitted my order. The cabinets from their in-stock vendor were made of cheap quality and several were delivered damaged. To make matters worse there was a 10-14 day turn around period to get the replacement cabinets delivered. Included in my order was an over the sink glass door cabinet which took about 2 months to be delivered (supposedly it was a special order item but was delivered full of warehouse dust like it was sitting for a year). When the cabinet was finally delivered there was no glass on the doors. My order form says "glass door cabinet" but there was no glass included. When I asked the designer about this she assumed I knew this because they were in-stock cabinets. These communication problems continued throughout the entire process.To top things off when I went to the granite vendor to pick out my slab and the order got back to the store I was mistakenly shown a different, more expensive stone. It looked exactly like the sample I was shown at the store but this just confirmed the dishonestly of this store. When the granite was scheduled to be installed the piece going on the ledge too long on one side and ran against the vein of the piece going on the counter top. It all had to be re-ordered which delayed everything once more. I have replaced kitchens at several homes and never had issues like these. The only reason I went to this store is because they claimed to have fast delivery on in-stock cabinets. Definitely not worth the trouble. Bottom line is that you are better off going through Lowes or Home Depot custom cabinets. They are of better quality and have better customer service.read more

I am so very pleased with the quality of the cabinets and the kitchen design by Robin Case. The entire experience was... exceptional and stress free. My kitchen is small (10'x10') so I wanted to maximize both storage and counterspace and Robin's design did just that. Also, the alliance Cabinets Direct has with the countertop supplier is terrific. Made it so very easy to select the countertop and get it measured and installed. If you plan to renovate your kitchen, you must stop here and order your cabinets. Fabulous Quality and Price (great value). One note: had to have old dishwasher reinstalled because new one not due in until end of Feb 2021. (Ordered appliances July 2020) Thank you.read more

Where to start?! Stephanie was incredible. I'll start by saying we went to her first, got our estimate and design but... wanted to shop around a bit, and by a bit I mean my husband got 6 estimates... Each time we left another place we found ourselves going back to Stephanie's design and available products. The price is truly competitive with CD USA and in the end felt like we got a great product at a reasonable price. The design on Stephanie's part couldn't have been any more perfect, she really does a thorough job, great attention to detail and knows her codes so there wasn't any issues with design and codes clashing. Not to mention she helped guide us in the right direction with a design that fit the space and lifestyle we live perfectly. Great experience from start to finish. Robin guided us patiently through creating a new kitchen from scratch - a full... gut remodel. She answered every question and made the experience exciting and fun, never overwhelming. She has a wealth of knowledge in her field. Miro, the installer and contractor, went above and beyond in so many ways. He kept the project running on schedule, he answered every phone call and text. Most importantly, his attention to detail is unparalleled. He didn't miss a thing and was always ready with a suggestion and solution. Our favorites were his suggestions for how to incorporate a variety of lighting options to really take the cabinetry and design to the next level. Rick listened carefully to my wish list and patiently guided me until we came up with the perfect design for my space. He recommended Decora cabinets, which not only are high quality but offered me the look and features I wanted. My favorite things are my spice drawer, pantry and vertical dividers. Decora even offers custom colored cabinets, so the possibilities are limitless.Miro was involved in our project from the planning stages until the completion of my kitchen. He and his workers are highly skilled carpenters and craftsmen who are professional, polite and easy to work with. Walked me through styles of cabinets as well as layout. Ordering was simple and right on point of delivery even in the pandemic. It’s... all about best value meaning that the value of the product exceeds the cost of the product. Cabinets Direct provided us with the best value product for our budget. Had a really great experience here - Adam was the designer we worked with and he did a wonderful job. What he did best... was take our ideas that we were trying to accomplish for style and layout, and then gave us a great understanding of the pro/cons of how those translate into a real life project. Basically he helped us best express our own ideas. His contractor recommendation, Miro, was excellent as well.
