Like many who redo their kitchen, I was unsure of even where to start. I inquired and received numerous quotes from... various contractors and cabinet locations, none of which matched my price range and comfort level. When finally stumbling on Cabinets Direct specifically designer/salesman Frank Morales (Cabinets Direct, Livingston), I felt comfortable and ready to start the project. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient. From start to finish everything was EXCEPTIONAL! And when recommending a contractor, Miro, he was spot on. The partnership and communication between the two of them was extraordinary and ensured the project got done efficiently. To that point Frank even drove hardware to my house while I was out of town to ensure the project didn't get held up (THAT IS ABOVE AND BEYOND)! I will certainly be recommending and using both Frank and Miro in the future. I already have a friend that is beginning a project with them both. My kitchen is now finalized, and I could not be happier. I am fortunate to have had found partners like Frank and Miro that build trust and follows through with patience and fulfilled promises. We completely gutted an apartment in Verona, NJ last year. We were incredibly fortunate to work with Jim Prentiss as... our designer. Jim designed our kitchen, two bathrooms, and two walls of beautiful cabinets for us. He guided us in choosing styles and colors, and his design was spot on. Not only is Jim very talented and easy to work with, he was extremely easy to communicate with. Each time we needed to get in touch with him, if our contractor had questions, he was quick to return calls. We love being in our beautiful apartment! We had cabinets put in a couple of years ago. We only use the apartment 3 months a year. A floating sink cab broke... and Bryan Lobay, from your Livingston office immediately put me in touch with your customer service. He asked all the right questions and gave me great directions and follow up. Kathy, in your customer service depart (unfortunately I do not know her last name) was wonderful in follow up and getting us a very satisfactory response from the cabinet company.I never write this type of email, but I could not let these two representatives of your company go without bringing them to your attention. We stumbled across Cabinets Direct at the Livingston location by chance, and worked with Lisa during our buying... process. Lisa has been incredibly helpful, patient, communicative, and responsive throughout the months of our project. We've met with her on numerous occasions as we mapped out and revised our kitchen design, and through it all she answered all of our questions, and responded to our concerns by putting us, the clients, first. We've spent hours with her, and Lisa helped us with a problem we had with the countertop manufacturer's inventory shortage, yet she consistently kept a positive attitude which helped reduce our stress levels. As it relates to Cabinets Direct, the company offers a number of different brands -- we decided on UltraCraft -- and the showroom gives good ideas and examples. Prices were far better than we found elsewhere, and we believe the quality is superior to other vendors as well. The turnaround was quick, 5-6 weeks, when 6-7 weeks was promised. Delivery day was seamless, everything arrived as promised, and our kitchen looks great! Can't thank Lisa enough, and we'd suggest you ask for her!read more
