We recently went through our biggest renovation project in our 22 years of living in our house: our kitchen. It looks... great and we got the hoped for results. We are very happy with all of our choices, perhaps the most critical being the cabinets and countertop that we purchased through Cabinets Direct. We owe a lot of the success to our salesperson/consultant that worked with us, Russell White. His attention to detail as well as his anticipation of what we wanted and, maybe more importantly, needed was instrumental in the final outcome as was his interaction with our contractor throughout the process. Russell had worked with him on previous jobs and that certainly helped. It was a pleasure working with Russell to come up with the final configuration of the cabinets. His expertise helped to guide us in the right direction with our choices. His patience throughout the process was appreciated as well. I cannot give him a high enough rating. Please really consider looking elsewhere. I cannot explain how terrible of an experience my wife and I have had with... the Wolf Designer cabinets we ordered.Their design was uncoordinated with cabinets and crown molding extending past doorways and other very simple design mistakes that should have been coordinated in the design.Worst part of these Wolf Designer Cabinets is their quality. It is unbelievable have horrible the cabinets are constructed and painted. Wolf has replaced over 6 drawers and 7 cabinet doors based on quality. (That is not counting the cabinet doors and drawers that needed to be replaced because of wrong style being shipped). Cabinet doors separating, paint chipping and misaligned hardware have been constant problems with almost every single cabinet.Dealing with Cabinets Direct has been a nightmare regarding Wolf warranty. At one point they actually said to me regarding a warranty inquiry “so what do you want us to do about it.”This is just the paint problem I have noticed today on 6 month old cabinets. Do not order your next kitchen from Cabinets Direct or Wolf.read more
